Kenwood and its Smoothies!!!
The Kenwood brand was established in 1936 by the coming together of Kenneth Maynard Wood. Since its initial small time routes it has grown into a global brand, reknowned for its Kenwood Tri-blade innovations and its Kenwood Smoothies.
Kenwood Ltd has been owned by the Italian compan De'Longhi ince 2001, when De'Longhi acquired Kenwood while it was seeking to develop a wider range of kitchen appliances, away from the Espresso Machines, European Coffee Machines it had earnt its prestigious name selling.
The Kenwood Ltd headquarters are based in Havant, Hampshire; with Kenwood's UK Distribution Centre being located in a multi-million pound Magna Park development. Kenwood's presence spralls across over 40 countries.
Kenwood, famed for its Food Processors, Food Mixers, Blenders and Smoothies, launched the Kenwood Chef in 1950. The Kenwood Chef is still sold in UK High Street Retailers now.
